If you are aged 18+ and are interested in joining Scouting, we always welcome adults who are prepared to give up some of their leisure time to Scouting. No matter what role you choose it can be tremendously rewarding and it will also give you the opportunity to develop new skills.

We always need adults for the following roles -

Beaver Scout, Cub Scout, Scout and Explorer Scout Leaders and Assistant Leaders (aged 18-65). Running the weekly meetings.
Instructors (aged 16-65). You may have a particular skill that might be useful, for example, canoeing, climbing, archery, hiking. Activity badges are very much a part of Scouting and adults who can act as tutors and/or assessors play a vital role.
Administrator or Committee Member (aged 18+) If you have administrative skills you might consider joining an Executive Committee of one of our Groups as a committee member, Treasurer or Secretary.
Supporters and Helpers(aged 18+). Helping section Leaders to run meetings either on a regular or an occasional basis.
