If you do not have this software on your computer go to
the Members information
page from where it can be downloaded.
You can start using the page by clicking on the "Network
Scouts" link in the index above left.
When you've done that come back to this page and then go to
"Useful links" which will give you access to more helpful
pages. Try selecting the Greater London Middlesex
West site then the "Activities" pages then
"Water Activities". This area is constantly being updated
and gives the dates and details of all water activities
courses.

Information
for all members
Endeavour is part of the Scout Association which is a
uniformed organisation and you are therefore expected
to wear uniform to our weekly meetings.
Please do not carry your DofE book around with you or bring it to Unit
meetings if it is not needed.
It is a bind to get a replacement (which you'll have to pay for) and
nearly every week someone leaves a book behind after the
meeting. It's even more of a problem if you've had things
signed-off, you’ll have to get them signed-off again.
PUT YOUR BOOK SOMEWHERE SAFE
AT HOME AND
LEAVE IT THERE UNTIL YOU REALLY NEED IT!!
Endeavour has a copy of a book entitled "Land Navigation - Routefinding
with Map & Compass" published by the DofE and Ordnance Survey.
It is an excellent publication which you will find a great
help in planning expeditions.
If you would like to borrow it please talk to Peter.
If you are working on your Gold Award it is important to remember that
a Residential completed with Harrow School for Young Musicians is not
acceptable to the DofE.

Information
for new members
If you are new to Endeavour you will
need to download three forms, the Endeavour Enrolment form, a
uniform order form and an Award Enrolment form. The links
are under "Forms" and are the
first three items on the list.
Download and complete the forms and pass them with
a cheque to Peter. A single
cheque, which should be made payable to "Roxbourne Award
Centre", is fine but please write on the back what you are paying
for.
If you are new to both Endeavour and Scouting you will need to
be invested into the Movement in order to become a member.
Before you can be invested you will need to understand the
Scout Law and, when being invested, repeat after the Leader the Scout
Promise. The
Scout Law & Promise are attached.

Forms
You can download any of the
following documents -

Council Grant
Application form
To qualify for a Grant you
must live in the Borough.
This
form must be completed and then passed to Peter at least one month before the event for which you are claiming
the grant
Whether you receive any money is entirely dependent of the
Council's financial situation.

UPDATED
12TH JULY
It's possible that the Unit will be going
to Longridge Boating Centre on the Thames at Marlow to take part in
Scout Dragonboat races over the weekend of 27th - 28th September. Watch
your e-mail for more news.
More information will be available very soon on our October half term
trip to S Wales. Again watch your e-mail for more information.
